Only 3 more days till the model show and I have nothing ready!

I hate paint that takes to long to dry! I hate when things don't go as planned. Looks like I may be only bringing 1 or 2 models to this show/contest in Kingston. Oh well, you can't rush perfection, so... I will at least have my VW Pig ready (even if it is not clear coated) and here are some pics! No big deal if I was not really ready this year, I go there to photograph all the awesome models there and to pick up some awesome deals on kits! Speaking of paints that take to long to dry. I have now switched to using only Tamiya model paints, as they airbrush beautifully, blend with themselves beautifully and because they are alcohol based, they can be thinned using just isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) but only use the 99% stuff. nothing lower or you will be mixing water in your paint, which is not good. Sure makes cleanup a breeze and the fumes are not harmful. The other plus? It dries super fast because of how fast alcohol evaporates! Another plus is if you mess up a paint job, stripping the model is easy, just soak in rubbing alcohol and rub off! Awesome. Sure beats using brake fluid or oven cleaner to strip a model.
